Stacey Goyette is a trained practitioner with a diverse background in manual therapy, natural medicine, and integrative healing sciences.
She holds a Diploma in Clinical Sports Massage Therapy from the Cape Institute for Allied Health Studies, where she studied under international sports therapist John Hooper, and is certified in MYYO Therapy (Applied Yoga Therapy, Kinesiology, and Myofascial Release), developed by Dr. Anne Combrink in Southern Africa.
Stacey studied Massage Therapy and Naturopathy with Dr. Mark Vella, completing a five-year apprenticeship in hands-on healing and natural medicine. She also spent two years in mentorship with Dr. Guy Ashburner, an osteopathic physician and close colleague in holistic healthcare during her time in her own private practice.
Her work is further supported by advanced studies in Ayurvedic Lifestyle Sciences and Raja Hatha with Dr Anne Combrink.
Kundalini Yoga and Cosmology has played a huge role in her work body, taught by Pritam Kalsa of H3O Foundation
During the course of 5 years, Stacey studied The Art of Living and Vipassana Meditation at Dhamma Pataka Vipassana Meditation in Southern Africa, Botanical Medicine, Permaculture, Food Systems & Off-grid Living at Khula Dhamma. During this time, she also submerged with different tribes and cultures to learn their inter-generational, anthropological and community healing methods & systems. Stacey spent time teaching women and holding space in sacred retreats and ceremony in the Red Tent Community and also consulted in her own private practice. Internal Family Systems play a huge role in Stacey’s work and create the foundation for the treatment plans for her clients.
Stacey’s clinical and holistic experience spans over two decades and is rooted in both evidence-based practice and ancient healing traditions, along with her multiple auto-didact healing journeys she has personally navigated over 30 years.
